Meet Dr. Allison Blacutt, DACM, L.Ac

Dr. Allison Blacutt is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Herbalist, and Holistic Wellness Therapist dedicated to inspiring and fostering the collective journey to holistic health. At the core of her treatment philosophy is the idea that our bodies are a part of the natural world, and accordingly, follow the same laws of nature. She works with her patients to restore this innate flow and to reawaken their bodies’ own healing potential.

Dr. Blacutt has over ten years of training in various healing modalities including a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Diego State University, a Doctorate and Master’s Degree from Pacific College of Health and Science, San Diego, and a certificate from Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She works with many different ailments through addressing root imbalance, but speciliazes in the treatment of mental health, stress and anxiety, pain management, women’s health, autoimmune disorders, and life path clarity. 

Dr. Blacutt’s healing style is highly individualized, intuitively guided, evidence based, and truly Heart Medicine. Each session is tailored to fit a patient’s specific needs. She combines the modalities of acupuncture, moxibustion,  intuitive body work, fire cupping, somatic therapy, crystal healing, and active listening. She is passionate about bringing the intention and reverence back into medicine and focuses on heart-centered treatments aimed to discover and attend to the root imbalance.
